actual engineers get into big companies (true for every branch but much easier for CS student ) . other people who are not actually engineers but have an engineering degree are given clerk jobs in TCS and WIPRO for 3 lpa -4lpa .
manipal is good place as many good companies are coming . so your job is to become an engineer first then you can always get into great companies .
so don’t focus on how not to fail but how to be in the top 5% of your class .
and if you are thinking that manipal will be a fun ride and you will easily get that big salary then good luck you will be in TCS after 4 years .
