NIFT have this centralised placement policy, where all the centre students can sit for the placement even in other centres as well.
After completion your degree from NIFT, you definitely will get a job in a industry related to Fashion, Apparel or Textile. Now which department you will opt for that completely depends upon which degree you are getting. Suppose
- If you are taking a degree in designing from NIFT, you will be getting job in various design departments in industry. There are again several designing courses are offered by NIFT – Fashion designing, Accessories designing, Leather designing, Knitwear designing, Textile designing and etc..
- In you are doing B.ftech or M.ftech, you will be mainly into Apparel Production line, or in merchandising our sourcing.
