Does an autonomous technical university need approval of the AICTE if it is already recognised by the UGC?

As per the AICTE guidelines , it is not mandatory for universities approved by UGC, bt still if university is having approval of AICTE then it will be a added advantage for you. AICTE approval is mandatory for technical institution offering programs. You may check ugc and aicte guidelines for this.
