LPU has its own entrance exam (LPUNEST) that it conducts for the students who wish to take admission at LPU. There are easily over 200 courses that LPU offers and most of them need you to give the entrance exam to get in. There is also an eligibility criterion that is to be met which can be subjective to each course/program.
In some cases though, there is just an eligibility criteria to fulfill where the LPUNEST examination acts as provider for scholarships.
So to answer your question, please keep in mind that if you are opting for a course where the LPUNEST examination is compulsory then it cannot be avoided until and unless you score very well in any other recognized national entrance tests. Nonetheless, the LPUNEST examination can be avoided for those courses where it acts merely as a scholarship provider.
I’d still suggest you to appear for the LPUNEST. I mean, why would you not want to avail a scholarship up to 50% of the entire course when you have the opportunity to?
In both ways, it is important to prepare for the LPUNEST. Be it to qualify for the course or to avail a scholarship, your preparation of the LPUNEST will help you get into the course of your choice and might even aid you financially.
