New Delhi, 17th November 2022: The date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is going to be announced soon. It has been 15 days since the notification for CTET has been issued, but the date of the exam has not been informed yet.
The exam will consist of 150 questions and will be of 1 hour 30 minutes.
There will be objective-type questions in the exam and there will be five sections and each section will have 30 questions.
The CTET syllabus is different for Paper 1 and Paper II. The questions are in both Hindi and English. The candidates who pass the CTET can apply for the appointment of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Army schools across the country.
Candidates who are successful in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment from 1st class to 5th class. While successful candidates in Paper 2 be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6th to 8th.
Eligibility for CTET Paper-1 (1st class to 5th class):
• 12th pass with 50% marks and two year
Diploma in Elementary Education or 12th pass with 50% marks and 4 years B.El.Ed or
12th pass with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.
Eligibility for CTET Paper-2 (6th class to 8th class):
• Graduation and Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed or 12th pass with 50% marks and 4 Year B.El.Ed or 12th Pass with 50% Marks and 4 Year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BAED/B.Sc.Ed. Graduation and Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed or 12th pass with 50% marks and 4 Year B.El.Ed or 12th Pass with 50% Marks and 4 Year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BAEd/B.Sc.Ed. or Graduation with 50% Marks and B.Ed (Special Education)
