There are few factors you have got to consider here
1)The Experience:
What u get in MIT is nowhere comparable to VIT.The facilities are top notch whether it be academics or recreational
2)The course you are getting:
If you are getting CS in VIT but a lower branch in MIT-VIT it must be.
Placements are more or less same for core branches,but CS vs Core – CS wins.
3)The location
4)Your self control:
It is very much true that few students get into drugs in MIT.But,if u have the confidence that u can say a no,MIT it is.
Have the suggestion of ur parents in this.
5)Fees:
Since you have said it is a little on the higher side,u can think on it.
But,trust me-overall experience in MIT is much greater.U don’t wanna be lost in the large crowd in VIT and have a boring monotonous college life.
