It is a two phase selection process. One is written test and other one is personal interview.
- Syllabus for written test is same as gate (hear and there they will ask questions from other subjects as well).Analyse the previous papers which are availabe in icrb website, so that you can get an idea on which subjects you need to focus more. Basics in Data structures, algorithms, C, networks ,compilers,automata, database,digital,architecture and operating systems are main subjects to clear written subjects.
- Read prescribed text books , if you have enough time;it helps in interview phase as well . Trust me, if not for this exam,that knowledge helps you some where in your life. Maintain a note book for synopsis, it will be useful in last minute, as we dont remember all the things we read from text books.
- Do not just read, try to test your knowledge parallelly by practicing test papers (may be gate papers).
- Control your self while writting exam. Dont get exited or get dipressed.Do not attempt questions which you are not sure.
