NEW DELHI- IIM Bangalore will conduct CAT 2022 exam on Sunday, November 27 in 151 test cities across the country in three shifts. CAT 2022 exam duration is 120 minutes (2 hours). More than 2.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear for CAT exam for admissions to MBA/PGDM programmes from IIMs and other leading B-schools in India.
IIM Bangalore has issued CAT exam 2022 day guidelines to be followed by the candidates. CAT exam shift details will be mentioned on the admit card of CAT 2022 and candidates will have to report to the exam centre accordingly. CAT exam – Instructions to follow
- Do not carry pen or stationary as it will be provided inside the examination centre for rough work required during CAT exam 2022
- Reach the exam centre as per reporting time mentioned in the admit card of CAT 2022
- Do not sign the CAT admit card beforehand. Signature must be placed in front of the invigilator during CAT exam
CAT exam 2022- IRIS/ Photo registration process
Candidates will have to undergo an Iris and photo registration process wherein their Iris will be photographed and scanned. Candidates will have to remove their glasses/ spectacles or contact lenses for the same. After the compilation of this process, candidates can sign the attendance sheet for CAT 2022.
Documents to carry at the CAT exam centre 2022
Candidates have to carry their CAT admit card along with one valid photo ID proof (anyone from the list given below).
- Aadhar card
- Voter ID card
- PAN card
- Driving Licence
- College ID
- Employer ID
NOTE: Candidates’ signature and photograph should be affixed and visible on the original ID proof and should match their name on the CAT admit card 2022. In addition, candidates will be allowed to a mask, sanitizer (100 ml), medical certificate and scribe affidavit as applicable. Candidates may note that socks, plain pullovers/sweaters/cardigans (without any pockets) are allowed while appearing for CAT 2022.
Steps to download CAT admit card 2022
Students appearing for IIM CAT exam 2022 can follow the steps given below to download CAT admit card:
Step 1- Visit the official CAT 2022 website – iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2- Next, find and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 3- Enter the CAT registration ID and password created at the time of filling CAT 2022 application form.
Step 4- Click on the ‘CAT admit card’ link.
Step 5- The CAT hall ticket will download automatically in a pdf format
CAT Exam 2022 – Dress Code
Candidates have to follow a certain dress code. Some dos and donts in this regard for CAT exam are:
- Jewelry or any item containing metal should not be worn.
- Avoid wearing shoes/footwear with thick soles
- Do not wear garments with large buttons.
- Deposit mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, pens, wallets, and goggles outside the exam centre before appearing for CAT 2022 as these items are strictly NOT allowed in the test hall.
Candidates who appear for CAT exam can expect the answer key (official) in the first week of December. However many coaching centres will be releasing their analysis of the CAT 2022 exam along with the answer key.
