No. It is not realistic to assume just getting any certification no matter how good it is will get you a good data science job.There are good answers to this question here already, but I wanted to make it clear that it is incredibly difficult to break into data science. Read some of the other answers for good ideas on how to do that, but make sure you realize it takes most people years to break into the field and get that first data scientist or machine learning engineer title.
That all said certifications help. What helps more is doing end to end data science projects on your own. So get the skills in SQL and python, learn what you need to learn in terms of math, stats, coding, and databases, then use sites like Kaggle to get help and ideas about your own end to end data science projects. If you can do the work of a data scientist on your own you will get a job doing it. That is the experience most companies want to see before giving you a job.
