Will SRM charge counselling fees if I don’t want to book any seat in counselling?

  • 0

Hi there!

Thanks for the A2A.

First of all i can’t get how few of my fellow SRMites are saying you won’t be charged. Assuming that this question is not yet answered i will go in detail.

First of all if you want to attend the counselling in SRM main campus then you have to make a Demand Draft of ₹2,10,000 payable at chennai if you want to book a seat at the time of counselling. Out of these ₹2,10,000 ₹10,000 is the counselling fees which is non refundable under any circumstance. And 2,00,000 is refundable if you dont take a seat and will be initiated under 30 days of your refund appeal or this amount will be included in your tution fees if you attend the classes.

Ps. If you attend even one class then this money won’t get refunded.

If you don’t want to book a seat at the time counselling but still want to attend the counselling then you have to make a demand draft of ₹10,000 which is the counselling fees and it is non refundable even if you don’t take admission later.

Some people said you will be offered food and stuff may be true but it’s not free my friend.

Hope that helps.
