Please re frame the question. You don’t need to do anything if you don’t want to. So please reframe your question to : What are the benefits of doing M.Tech from BITS Pilani ?. Here are some incentives doing Masters from BITS (just my opinion) :

3) Excellent faculty : You can learn a lot from some of the faculty. They are very open and approachable. You can undertake projects in your field of interest and publish papers on the same.
4) Helps you secure college admits/ jobs: If you are interested in pursuing your PhD or even in securing a job, candidates from BITS Pilani are taken seriously. You worked hard to get into BITS, now you reap the fruits of your labor !
