I hardly think that’s a reasonable question but let me throw some light on present situation:
- VTU held its exams for final semesters in the month of August end to September mid.
- Classes for the existing semesters are started online and they already have a delayed semester (plus the previous semester results for lower batches have been given lesser credits due to lack of examination as proposed by government)
- VTU counselling has been majorly offline (atleast the final allocation) held at NMKRV college Jayanagar and they do not have a proper methodical infrastructure to conduct online counselling (they have the resources but the top officials love eating money) so they will prefer offline just like the examination of final years.
- Karnataka has been experiencing a surge in testing, there have been flood in multiple areas and even in Bangalore the current ongoing late monsoon has caused waterlogging and floods especially in BTM Layout, Jayanagar and low lying areas so this will further disrupt the arrangement irrespective online or offline.
- Offline classes are allowed from November 17 for the second and third years, however that is an optional choice as a few segment of students do not have access to online classes, so VTU will take priority of arranging their resources to first clarify the situation of the existing batches and probably try to conduct their semester end examination.
