Chitkara is no match for the stature of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. GNDU is a Tier 1 state university with NAAC score of 3.51, the highest in the whole region. It’s the only university in the region awarded University with Potential for Excellence (UPE). The research index of GNDU is the best among all the instiutions of higher education in the whole region . University has won prestigious MAKA trophy for record number of times.. GNDU has been awarded for the cleanest campus during Swatch Bharat Abhiyan. The university has a strong Alumni base with its students occupying prestigious positions in India as well as abroad..
