Go for Chitkara University, Punjab. Giving you an unbiased opinion and that too from personal experience and I don’t regret it one bit. I have heard a lot about LPU and it’s all negative points. But, with Chitkara it’s mostly positive like 99 percent positive and 1 percent negative. The placements, the clubs, the facilities at Chitkara are literally TOP CLASS! And for the hostellers, you don’t need to worry at all except for one thing that is GATE PASS! You will easily find everything accessable. They have ATM, Tuck Shops, Gym, Mess, an over the top cafeteria with Burgrill and La Pino’z. However, the gate pass thing is applicable even if you are a day-baorder. As a day boader, you will easily be spending two hours every day commuting from your place to the university. The university played it’s cards right while deciding the location of the university because the distance is same from Panchkula, Chandigarh, Mohali, Zirakpur and Patiala. Many MNCs come in for campus placements but you will have to work hard to build your CV. They also have a lot of clubs which are dedicated to engineering like BITS and BYTES, ASME etc. Their labs are equipped with the best systems and softwares. They have specialisations like game design, AI, UX etc. Each student is assigned a mentor who place special attention to the student’s growth.
