- Giving little importance to HC Verma. Don’t ignore this book. If you want to improve your concepts, this book is bible.
- If you want to excel your Assertion Reasoning, read NCERT from first day. Dont keep it for the last few months. I started from 12th.
- Thermodynamics: this is not a formula based chapter.
- Electronics: Well, dare not ignore it.
- Rotation: Make sure your concepts are clear.
- SHM and Waves: these two chapters are hurriedly completed in coaching and school, at least it was done at our branch. Make sure to clear the concepts. This is again not a formula based chapter. Dont ignore the damping topic.
- Practice NCERT Exercises. In the last two NEET papers, Physics was calculative and conceptual. NCERT exercises help you to practise a variety of questions.
- Magnetism and Matter. Read NCERT.
- EM waves and Communication get a lot of attention in AIIMS examination.
- Modern Physics: NCERT is must.
Chemistry.
- Don’t ignore the data boxes in NCERT. At least for AIIMS examination.
- Never ever ratify Organic Chemistry. Explore the topic. It’s vast.
- Make sure you first learn inorganic chemistry from NCERT. Nothing can be ignored.
Biology.
- NCERT is bible. 320 for sure if you learn it by heart.
- Don’t ignore the Earthworm and Frog topic. Dont keep it for the last. Prepare it with Cockroach. It’ll help you in AIIMS examination.
- Don’t completely ignore the coaching material.
- Dont forget to read the supplementary material.
- Read. Read. Read.
Mental Preparation (some advice)
- Don’t be over confident or lose confidence on the exam day.
- Don’t panic or stress much.
- Have a good sleep.
- Don’t fill your minds with negative thoughts.
These are some of the mistakes which me and my batch mates committed during the exam preparation.
