Hi. Don’t choose CSE just for placement. You are required to work hard in those four years.
I can however give you some reasons to take CSE.
- You will observe the mathematical concept you learnt at school in real-life. For example, matrices, calculus, vectors, Principle of Mathematical Induction etc.
- You will study about compilers. You will get to know how basic concepts help to build programming languages.
- You will understand large-scale handling of data in databases.
- You will see beauty of algorithms. For example, the justification you do in a word process requires you to make a better algorithm, else it can take exponential time.
- You will understand that all web-security or network-security are just implementations of mathematical concepts.
- You will understand the electronics required to build a basic computer.
