I would say SRM, because it has better faculties and scope for research.
And more over chemical is a course that students take out of interest, like they always have an option to opt for anything other than chemical during counselling.
Taking chemical in SRM is the wisest decision one would make. As the faculties for chemical are extremely helpful and highly qualified.
Plus the current batch of chemical engineering has only around 140–150 students. This makes sure that you get more one to one attention and the teachers handling the core subject are highly qualified.
I’m in the first year and in the first sem I had my core, that is material technology.
And my faculty made the subject very interesting which made us all love chemical engineering even more.
Plus about placements, you ll get decent placements provided u have a good GPA and crack the interview.
