Thanks for A2A.
I cannot single out one subject. But the most important subjects are as follows:
PSM
OBG
Pharmacology
Microbiology
Pathology
These subjects demand good effort while first reading but they are easier to revise and will help you fetch a good rank .
Add Biochemistry and physiology to the above list and you ll be in a good position.
Now the subjects which are easier to cover and easier to score are
Skin
Anaesthesia
Radiology
Psychiatry
Ent
Orthopaedic
Ophthalmology
FMT
These subjects take less time for first reading and the revision is even easier. And they together constitute about 70 to 80 questions.
Now I haven’t mentioned a few subjects in the list .
Anatomy – If learned correctly , it will be easy to fetch good score , but the subject needs good amount of effort .
Medicine and Surgery – Although they together constitute about 50 to 60 questions, you need to give a lot of time to finish these subjects.
Pediatrics – The clinical questions from paediatrics are pretty vague at times , and you get easily confused during exams .
So the bottom line is that to get a good rank , you need to prepare a schedule which gives you enough time to read and revise all the 19 subjects.
However, if you are short on time , then you can manage the subjects as mentioned above .
PS : In anatomy at least go through upper & lower limb and cranial nerves.
Best wishes buddy !!
