Which is harder, mechanical engineering or computer science engineering?

This is the wrong question to ask. The question you should be asking is which subject is the most appealing. The subject that is most appealing will give you the motivation to overcome the obstacles that will inevitably develop. When you don’t enjoy doing something there will be a tendency to give up when the going gets rough. Additionally what one finds difficult is not necessarily what another will find difficult.
