I really don’t know why people put VIT and SRM on the same league/level. There are certain factors which people see before joining a college such as placements, peer group, campus life, academics and lab facilities, room for personal growth, etc. VIT wins in almost 95% of them.
The only area where VIT loses to SRM is ‘Students’ freedom’ as the rules in VIT are a bit strict, especially for girls. SRM is comparatively relaxed in this sense and girls are also allowed to stay outside the campus (other than hostels). But come on this is somewhat a less important factor compared to most of the dominant ones which makes a college good.
So, choose VIT hands down without giving any second thought!!
