I faced the same situation a year ago.
I really do not regret my decision of joining SNU. I agree that IP has a brand name and is reputed enough that every single person knows about it!!! But Shiv Nadar University is growing tremendously in all aspects. Almost more than 90% faculty here is a PhD holder.The faculty is really helpful and encourages the students to find out the best in themselves.There are many research facilities here.
You also get to choose a minor where you can show your level of expertise whether it is management, communication and media, or any other combination along with your major. Also the infrastructure is really awesome.Once you are here, you won’t want to go back to your home as the crowd and atmosphere here are really very nice. There is not a single type of quota here , so only the students who deserve, come here.Also,Shiv Nadar University is such that only a limited number of students are granted admission and you do not get lost in the herd.
The day is not far, when this University will be well known for it’s uniqueness and different approach towards education.Here is the link which says that it will become India’s MIT or Harvard one day.
