Which is better NIT Kurukshetra or PEC Chandigarh?

I am an NIT kkr alumni but my boyfriend was from PEC mechanical. From what I have seen in my college and been told by my boyfriend, I believe PEC has a more intellectual crowd (strength is less) than Kurukshetra, and college is more about learning from your peers. NIT is just famous because of the NIT brand but every good company knows PEC, so in terms of placement too PEC fares well than kkr.
