UPES is famous for its petroleum related courses and has excellent placements in those. However other branches are either newly established or are not as good as their Petroleum related branches. Most of the branches in Manipal have been established long back and can be relied upon as safe bets as the curriculum is time tested and so are the placements and so you have a clear idea about what you are getting into. So if you are interested in Petroleum related branches then UPES is the place to be otherwise Manipal is your best option
