Buddy, I’d choose VIT Vellore for B.Sc Agriculture. The reason being, VIT has been very much concerned with making Vellore ‘Green Vellore’ for a pretty long time. Since I’ve been in Vellore almost all my life, I’ve seen the special efforts that they’ve taken till now to plant more tress and take care of the tress that they’ve planted regularly. At this juncture, I’d like to highlight that it’s not just about trees, they’ve a farmland in the University itself and have been working on it for quite sometime. The course may have been started off late, but according to me VIT has been doing hands on for a very long time in Agriculture. They’ve many tie ups and they organize Agricultural Fests where farmers come to the campus. I’ve enjoyed the fest a lot myself 🙂 It’s not just about the course and theory if you choose VIT. It’s more than that🙂 However I don’t know much about SRM, so I’ve got nothing much to talk about Agriculture course there. Just sharing my personal experience and views. It’s your call in the end. All the best🙂
