Firstly, bits pilani,pilani campus is one of the top notch college to study at in india, the college has a history, legacy which makes it even famous, on the other hand hyderabad campus is a budding campus which is new and is already doing great in terms of placements, culture,etc
Pros of taking civil in pilani campus
- well pilani has an excellent coding culture(≈goa>hyderabad),and also have high gsoc selections
- Core companies for civil like l&t,etc visit and take people with decent packages
- The culture, fests (apogee and oasis are too good) and people out here are awesome and you can learn a lot from them
- Your projects gets funded by the alumnis a bit easier as most of the alumni base is from pilani
- You can do the electives of cse(best thing about bits) if you are intrested in coding
Cons
- People under look civil branch and it does’nt have whooping packages like cse or ece
- Relatives keep on mocking you for taking civil or else its good
