For later higher studies both are pretty good branches. But it depends if you want to go for masters directly after your fourth year is completed or after your job experience.
If you are planning to go directly after 4th year it wont make much difference which branch you opt for.But if you are looking for the latter scenario the job opportunities in CS@ VIT are very good so you wont have difficulties getting placed in CS which might a bit difficult in ECE
