As an Anna University student, I would proudly say it’s Anna Uni considering the brand value and its prevalence in many parts of Tamil Nadu.
It is also important to know on what criteria we rate the two universities. While Anna University is the best for Engineering and technology, I must say Annamalai university is a name well known for correspondence courses. My mother did her masters in mathematics in correspondence from Annamalai and it’s good to get her a promotion.
If you are looking at under grad and engineering in particular, Anna uni is THE place to be.
