Which is a better field to go into, computer science or engineering (any kind of engineering)?

It depends on what you want to do. Computer science is all software but computer engineering is half hardware (electrical engineering) and then half software (software engineering). If you enjoy circuits and understanding them but you also enjoy programming go for computer engineering. If you find that you hate hardware but you love programming, then software is for you. Computer engineering is more marketable but neither have trouble finding jobs. You just need to do what’s right for you and what makes you happiest.
