i am not comparing but telling recent trends . Placement is with , obviously now days private companies or MNC’s . They don’t have initiatives to go in colleges deciding their own ( except reputed IIT’s and NIT’s) . These are college management who are taking initiatives to arrange and call these companies .The HR and senior technical person came to do campus interview . This is also fact that many facilities they are being obliged at private colleges are not given to them at Government aided college as NIT’s .This has now , broadened too much and even companies are not willing to go at NIT and government colleges .There are series of reasons , why they prefer to some private engineering colleges as VIT, SRM, Galgotia , Amity , Manipal etc only . Standard of education also increasing in private collages off course .
