We as a species have been able to survive due to the interdependence on each other. Pick any profession in the world. Imagine a world in its absence.
Some professions get you respect, some get you fame, some get you money and some just earn the daily bread and butter for you but they are all equally important for us as a species.
So it totally depends on what you value. What you value the most is the most valuable course for you.
