I was also in the same condition the previous year.We were in the support of UIET for only one parameter i.e. its FEES otherwise UIET is nowhere in front of THAPAR.
I will suggest you THAPAR,anyday.
Because-
1.UIET Chandigarh is nowhere in the list of top 100 colleges in India in any of the National Rankings(be it NIRF itself).
2.UIET has an extremely bad infrastructure and classrooms which are pathetic to study.
3.The so-called reputation of UIET is due to PUNJAB University only.
4.UIET lacks in Research and Placements.
