I’m going to give you a relatively detailed answer but before that I’ll just give you an idea on my performances.

Jee advanced rank 14k
Viteee rank -17k
Comedk -880.
Now, getting into details, I hope you do notice that my jee advanced rank is better than my viteee rank. This is inspite of the fact that I did the vit exam very well.
Vit is a complete scam, they manage to fool everyone and I was at some point fooled too .
Vit places empty slots in their rank list where in students who pay money can join. Also vit is nothing short of a factory.
Let me give you a comparison between vit and RV for the same branch, let’s say cse.
- With my rank, I could have gotten cse in vit with phase 2 counseling,i.e – 3L fees over my merit fee of 1.7. In rvce, other than the management quota fact, you need to have performed well in the cet or comedk to get a seat which means you are sitting among others who are quite similar to you in capabilities(excusing the management seats). This is not the case with vit.
- In RV there are only 2 types of fee costs, through cet or comedk , both being much much cheaper than vit.
