I want to give a detailed explaination on this answer since I have recently participated in josaa councelling and have secured a cse seat in NIT jalandhar , so I think I can provide the latest status of NIT colleges in India for cse branch as I had worked upon it a lot for choice filling.
So, what is the stuff one looks upon after clearing India’s most toughest exam? it is that I get a very good college which can help me to get a handsome package at my first job after four years.Moreover , I get happy life without much hectic and hard work in it. And that is why we choose CSE branch whose avg. package is not only way better than rest of the core branches but also it ensures that you get a job in such a company which provides 24/7 A.C. with a cabin for u and u have to do nothing but to just sit and do your work.
So , coming back to the question , till now u might have got an idea about on what basis I am going list out the colleges below in their preference order! Yes, that is not based on factors like infrastructure , distance from your home,etc. but it is solely dependent on avg. pay package that the NITs offer on CSE branch. So, Without taking your more time gentleman, I should start.
