This is a question everyone is eager to know the answer to, but no one can actually tell, we can just predict, and hope for the best.
The campus was shut as soon as the pandemic was declared and the academic activities have been operating online since then. The 2021 batch joined without getting the feel of what it is to first visit the campus. The current situation is such that the campus was made open for higher degree, PhD and final year students, following strict guidelines to ensure safety of the residents of the campus.
The plan, as mentioned by the administration was to open the campus in different phases, allowing one specific batch of students at a time but the sudden rise in Covid cases has led to further delay in campus reopening.
From what I see, campus shall open sometime in the first semester 2021–22, and the date will depend a lot on the number and spread of covid cases at that time. It will also depend on the availability of the covid vaccines and the institute may ask students to get vaccinated before coming to campus to secure health of campus residents. This is what I think and does not come from any source by the institution.
