What would be better, a new IIIT or VIT?

  • 0

Honestly,

The so called ‘tag’ of being from a government college might force you to think hard about the newer IIIT’s , But believe me , 4 years down the road, You’ll want good companies coming in for placement more than anything .

VIT gives you a sense of security when it comes to the placement (talking specifically about CSE) . I know the whole batch going to some IT Firm is what reputation outsiders hold of us.

But, We’re doing a lot better ! Every single year , our Highest salary is increasing by leaps , The average stands somewhere close to 6 LPA. But , That’s for all the streams , CSE would be A LOT better than that , I don’t know the exact figures and i don’t want to make any false claims here.

The Management quota while being a sad fact, is a reality. But, The reason for this is the extensive amount of money required to run an institute. The fees for merit-based students stands around that of a NIT.Maybe, That’s why it exists.
