Try doing projects of current trend and latest technologies.Most of the people stick with concrete or replacing aggregates in concrete, which has gone old by ages.Try taking some real time problems or a case study of a structure will also do.Bring in some new innovation and ideas.Just get out of the box.Streams like irrigation,green technology,smart cities,lean construction are not prefered by most of the students. Do something in one of these streams and publish a paper. All the best.
