Just make yourself strong in coding.Solve questions on codechef , spoj , hackerearth etc. Participate in online coding contests. You will learn to implement new algorithms and new techniques while solving the problems here. With practice and dedication you might get a very good command over coding and problem solving. And just have basic knowledge about the subject taught in your semesters.
And I guess that is enough to get higher package jobs in the industry.
If coding is not the area where you can excel.Prepare for GATE , CAT etc 🙂
