IIT dhanbad CSE has now became far better than that of IIT Ropar. This is due to a great coding culture (IIT dhanbad has many clubs that make you master in coding), great alumni network( as it is an almost 90 year old college), and great placements (18 lpa avg CSE placements). Microsoft which is a regular visitor at IIT dhanbad provided 40 lpa to 3 of the students and Samsung had given 35 lpa to 5 students. Also it has a well settled campus with a very big central Library. So overall, the campus life is also great. So, decision lies in your hands what to choose. Choose wisely.
