COMEDK is a competitive exam, which is conducted throughout India for students interested in pursuing Bachelors in Engineering, science and medical backgrounds from universities and colleges in Karnataka.
In 2016, the seats in CSE of RVCE were around 180. In which, different quotas like KCET, COMEDK, MANAGEMENT were there. So, the competition is very high.
I managed to get a rank of 736, marks 135 and got into ECE of RVCE.
Competition mainly lies in the region of 130 to 145. In this region, 1 mark can throw you back by hundreds of ranks.
So, for a safer side, try to get above 140.
If you are committed to CSE and can’t manage to get into RVCE CSE, there are many options if you score above 135. You may get into RVCE ISE or BMSCE CSE or MSRIT CSE, which provide almost the same provisions as RVCE CSE.
Other groups of RVCE are also very good like ECE and ISE.
