A student may be provided with the best of resources to be successful but those alone may not guarantee it. An equally cumulative environment that combines all the resources and brings about the best from a student is vital in any scenario.
What’s unique or interesting to me may not be for the reader of this post but my word comes from my experience of being a 2nd year CSE student at BU.
The university and School of Computer Science Engineering and Technology (CSET) have always ensured the best learning outcome for us be it in offline or online mode.
The scholarly and intellectual faculty, all the resources such as high-tech labs, supercomputer access, online courses catalogues, curriculum, etc. function together flawlessly.
The academic curriculum has been designed in such a way that CSE students too can learn from other branches of B.Tech. For example, students in their 1st semester have a course titled “Introduction to Engineering” where students attend lectures from faculties of various branches be it Electrical or Biotechnology.
There are also invaluable courses like “Foundations of Entrepreneurship” and “New Age Life Skills” which give you a detailed exposure to the growing world of entrepreneurs, how can you be an entrepreneur, and the crucial mentality of being one, and the latter teaches you about the importance of leadership, organizational and communicational skill as well as some psychological tests to know yourself better
