- VIT is a very good college for those who couldn’t do enough in JEE and are willing to make the amendments now. You can do projects, research works, get publications etc. You’ll always be encouraged.
- VIT is a very good college for those who want to enjoy their college life to the fullest. You’ll get a great bunch of people from different cultures to hang around with.
- VIT is a very good college for those who aren’t ‘much’ interested in studies and consider their options elsewhere like Music,Dramatics,Movie Making,Choreography,Sports,Debates & Speeches,Automobiles etc. You’ll get a plenty of opportunities which I’m not sure other colleges encourage the way VIT does!
- VIT is a very good college for those who get irritated very easily if certain BASIC demands aren’t met.
24 hours Electricity.
20 hours Free WIFI.
24 hours Water Supply- Hot/Cold - VIT is a very good college for those who go out very often. There are some really beautiful places to visit.
Bangalore is 4 hours away.
Chennai is 3 hours away.
Puducherry is 4 hours away. - VIT is a very good college for foodies. We don’t have KFC or McDonald’s and yet, You will be happy 🙂
- VIT is a very good college for those who have imagined their college life with ‘someone’ special. There are chances that you might get that ‘someone’ here. But, there is an IF.
If you are a mechanical engineer then THAT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN - NEGATIVES:
- VIT is a very bad college for those who enjoy freedom and have imagined a restriction-free college life. Son, You are at the wrong place.
YOU MUST REPORT INTO THE HOSTEL BEFORE 9 P.M.
YOU CAN’T CARRY BIRTHDAY CAKES/CIGARETTES/LIQUOR INSIDE THE HOSTEL. - VIT is a very bad college for those who desperately want to show their love in public. Public Display of Affection is strictly prohibited inside the campus. Your ill-mannered behaviour will not be tolerated and you’ll be sent home along with your Love! HOME SWEET HOME.
- VIT is a very bad college for those who want a peaceful walk out of the hostel. This place is OVERCROWDED. This isn’t a college anymore. Sooner or Later, Tamil nadu government is going to declare it as a CITY. There are people everywhere 🙁 [ I’m a peace-seeking guy and I don’t get a place to sit in the campus unless it isn’t the library. ]
- VIT is a very bad college if you are looking for the same quality teachers who taught you the JEE portion. You missed out on a very good opportunity. You’ll have a tough time ‘STUDYING’ here. You’ll have to do it all by yourself if you are willing to. At times, You’ll curse yourself after interacting with some professors.
You won’t be studying anymore. You’ll be mugging things up. The irony is here. The boy who used to quit everything to solve a migrain-inducing problem will say-”Engineering is all about mugging up!!!”
But, This misconception will surely go away soon. THAT DAY WILL MARK THE BIRTH OF A REAL ENGINEER IN YOU! That feeling will be unmatchable 🙂I will edit this answer soon if anything significant strikes my mind and is worth mentioning!
