The fest conducted in 2014 was the best ever till date. The quality has kept deteriorating since then. This year (2016) has been the worst. Barring a few members, the core committee selection has been marred by nepotism.
Stories have been going around that a convener (read female) was removed from the committee over a petty issue with the main guy. There is no transparency and the degree to which the rules and work ethics apply to members, differs, depending upon the proximity of the students close to the authorities. Unnecessary politics has degraded the working environment.
Well, this all has borne fruit. The sponsorship money generated has been the lowest, a relatively unknown singer is coming for the celebrity night.(KK came in 2014) and the event list is shorter.
