What is the shortlisting criteria for companies in ICAI campus placements, in terms of marks and number of attempts?

From my experience companies will consider following things while shortlisting:-

1. number of attempts – first attempt is not an criteria for companies, but your articleship matters if you did your articleship from a good firm or from delhi ncr then chances of selection become higher by upto100%. However some companies also taking those candidates who took more than 3 attempts like airtel this year.
2. Articleship- if you did articleship from good firm no matter how many attempts you have take, you will be shortlisted by more than 3 companies.
3. Rank holder- if you are a rank holder then you will surely shortlisted by more than 4 companies no matter from where you did your articleship.
