Making plausible excuses, hey, its a skill we as adults employ just to live with ourselves … but really, to me it was to brighten their outlook, take the challenging courses as electives every time and give then hope, so that perhaps they won’t have to rationalize, if this is too much, appreciate their insight, they are rare people, as the student -despite your vast knowledge, you can build a total action plan, listen, more options and set rewards should be considered well, don’t dismiss until you hear them out, I took a language based on A recommendation, it has made a huge difference, I would not even have considered it without that help in plotting a direction
