When you want to get into the best college in Karnataka, your performance in your 12th exams also has to be top-notch. RVCE is the best I repeat the best college to get into in Bangalore. So your scores have to be equally good to get in.
Three ways to get into RVCE (only 3 if you know any more please let me know)
- KCET
Karnataka Common Entrance Test. As the name specifies it is only for students who have been studying in the state for 6+ years. you have to get a rank inside 150 to get into the computer science branch in RVCE.
after writing the entrance exam and getting a rank you can log in to the KCET website the follow the instructions.
- COMEDK
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. This entrance exam is for every citizen of India. Loads of people write it to get into colleges in Karnataka. Fees structure is higher than KCET.
Same as KCET, after writing the exam and getting a rank you follow the instructions given on the website.
- Management quota
here is a very expensive way to get into RVCE but it is a sure shot seat. The fees every year is around 10 lakhs plus development fees and most of the time these seats are difficult to get (especially for Computer science).
my suggestion is if you have the budget to get into RVCE through management do not hesitate. In the long run that is after 4 years of hard work, you will definitely feel it worth the money, they place their students in some of the best companies in the world and your starting salary will be somewhere around 12 lakhs per year. RVCE is not just a college it is a dream to every student in Karnataka and over the country.
