That highly depends on the college and course you’re enrolled in. If you’re enrolled in some of the most demanding courses like B.Com. (H), Eco (H), Computer Science (H) etc. Then you won’t get as much time as you’d get if you were enrolled in other less demanding courses like BA Prog., Physical Sciences etc. Furthermore, the college (and campus) matters because if you study in an off campus college, you won’t get that exposure of student life and most probably you’ll stay unaware of the events happening at University level. So, North Campus is definitely the most happening part of DU followed by South Campus and then the off campus colleges. Apart from that, amenities provided by the college differs too, for example, you’d get to play an array of sports including archery and some other peculiar outdoor sports if you become part of top colleges like Hansraj College.
So life of a student inside DU can differ a lot! That depends on a plethora of factors! Nevertheless, cultural events, numerous societies to be a part of apart from study groups, sports, student unions, interesting people, metro rides, street food and copying lecture notes are part of a normal DU student life.
