To be frank, more number of companies come for CSE followed by IT. So the chance of getting placed is really high.
I am a 2015 graduate. And in my batch, the highest package was 24 LPA. Many dream companies offer 5–7 LPA range. Mass recruitment companies offer around 3.5 LPA.
