I am the 2021batch graduate from VIT. I started by course in VIT in 2011. I’ll give you straight facts that you can use to observe the trend of VIT over the years. Mind you, I’m talking about the Vellore campus.
My impressions of VIT, when I started were:
1) beautiful campus
2) Elaborate facilities
3) surprisingly, no language issues.
4) Unique course selection system (FFCS)
5) More than expected number of students in a single campus.
As expected, it wasn’t gonna be perfect, and there’s nothing wrong with it. Nothing is. And so did I learnt in the following months.
1)FFCS caused more chaos and confusion that expected
2) The hostel in times were, rather unexpected too, 9.30 on weekdays and 11.30 on weekends for men. I’m not certain, but it was more stringent for girls.
3) there was a plethora of clubs, activities, and events.
