CBSE curriculum is offered to 24+ countries around the world, including India and UAE. As for the syllabus, it will be almost the same, except for a few differences. CBSE has a very standardized curriculum and when you are in middle school, the focus is generally on 7 major learning areas. These subjects that are offered can vary from school to school, or from country to country. For academic subjects, a student can expect Arabic, UAE Social Studies and Islamic in the course. As a second language, there may be options like Hindi or French. When it comes to India, it would probably be Hindi and Indian Social Studies with the second language being some other subject. However, certain subjects like English, Science, Maths would remain the same. Also, CBSE gives a lot of importance to extracurricular activities also, and these can differ from country to country, so in that way it can differ in India and Dubai. In regard to the query, for students shifting school from India to Dubai, an international school with a CBSE curriculum can be of great help. Say for example, a school like GIIS international school Dubai has campuses both in India and Dubai. So for someone shifting base, it would be easier to enroll in such a school where they can catch up without much difficulty.
