2. It was formed by merging 7 existing national govt Institutions.
3. Its main agenda was to design and supporta common system of education which is national in character & also enables & encouragesthe diverse culture across the country.
4. Textbooks published by NCERT are prescribed byCBSE from class I- XII

SCERT—— state council of education research & training

1. Autonomous organisation of govt of India talented on 5th Jan 1979.
2. It was formed by the upgradation of state institute of education.
3. It’s main agenda is to improvethe standard of educationin the state.
4. It prescribes curricula & textbooks for school and teacher training institute. It also organise and superwise working of teacher training college, secondary training college and elementary training college.
